Spiritual Journeys

Many of us are aware of being on our spiritual journeys… paths either in the physical or spiritual realm that cause us to grow, change or evolve in some way leading to our soul’s expansion. They help us come more into alignment with our higher selves and increase our awareness that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. A spiritual journey is said to be the path a soul takes from self-awareness to, ultimately, getting connected with Divine consciousness. It helps us to evolve as souls (https://themindfool.com/spiritual-journey-how-you-can-embark-on-it/). Each person’s path will look different because the circumstances and the choices we make are all different.

Many people do not feel they are necessarily on a spiritual journey but do look for the deeper meaning of life. They have a deep knowing there must be more to life than what they are aware of. Maybe they are drawn to reading spiritual books or to being out in nature. Maybe they are outgrowing the people or things in their lives and don’t understand why. There are many possibilities for how a spiritual journey can look. Being aware of the journey we are on is not a prerequisite for being on a journey. In fact, often times we are on our spiritual journeys for quite some time before we recognize that we are in the midst of it. All of our life experiences are a part of our journeys. The experiences we have, the people that come and go, the pain, happiness , and hurts we have are all part of it. They all help us to learn and grow at the soul level.

As we become aware of our journeys, it often increases our drive to learn more and embark on new practices. When we make choices that raise our vibration or are in alignment with our true selves, it feels good. Because it feels good on a very deep level, we naturally want to make more choices that make us feel the same way. This is our higher self guiding us towards soul growth. The more we learn and grow, the more our life experiences take us in new directions. Every journey is unique but every one is designed for soul growth.
